Phase Beam is a starship weapon.

Summary

The Phase Beam is one of the primary starship weapons featured in various trailers for No Man's Sky. It is an alternative to the more common Photon Cannon. Both are shown in the PS4 Explore trailer. The Phase Beam allows the player to mine asteroids in space, which hold valuable resources.
