Pilgrim's Pass is a racetrack.

Summary[]

Pilgrim's Pass is a racetrack, located on the planet Bawt VIII in the HUB6-6A Ripley Space system.

Layout[]

The track is a simple Pilgrim course, etched into the landscape itself. The natural terrain allows for viable multiplayer head-to-head races, with Pilgrim's Pass being considered an Emeril Division Drag Race. A tunnel entrance leads drivers into the underbelly of Bawt VIII, with winding corridors large enough to allow many racers through at a time. The course ends at the tunnel's exit, and both ends are marked by a Save Beacon.

A Race Initiator sits at the North end of the course, allowing players to run time trials of the rallyway. The checkpoints only point in one direction. This constricts the initial sprint to those checkpoints while allowing more freedom during the return run to be as quick as possible.

Challenge yourself for a time under 180 seconds.

Features[]

As the area around Pilgrim's Pass is largely uninhabited, the rallyway is intended to minimally impact the environment and follow the natural course of the tunnel. Starship parking is available in the open fields.

Additional Information[]

Drivers should remain within the large tunnel during the race. Other openings exist throughout the course, but most continue to dead ends or snaking labyrinths - neither of which are good for your race. Some can lead you back to open air, which is officially off the track.

However it should be noted that during head-to-head matches, use of the walls and ceilings are entirely allowed and encouraged in order to best your opponents. There may be a small but valid shortcut or two in there as well.

The racetrack is also known as "Bawt VIII Underground Rallyway".
