Summary[]
Proximity Switch is a base building product that is used to toggle power to buildings using Electrical Wiring.
Game Description[]
A power management device, the switch will toggle the flow of power when an entity is detected nearby.
Switches require both power and signal wires to control a device.
Crafting[]
- The blueprint can be acquired from the Construction Research Station on the Space Anomaly for 1 Salvaged Data.
Proximity Switch can be built using a blueprint and the following ingredients:

Additional Information[]
- The product will activate when a player comes within 7.5u of it and deactivate again once the activating player moves to further away than 9.5u from it. This makes it useful for powering base products that only need to be powered when a player is nearby, such as Appearance Modifier or Base Teleport Module.
- Note: Leaving by the Base Teleport Module does not appear to trigger the Proximity Switch to turn off.
