Rubeum (Ru) is a resource, and a member of the Exotic elements class.
This element is found only in Red Star systems, and commonly located in large terrain piles or rimming circular openings in cave roofs.
If present, the element will show on the results of a Planet Scan.

As described in the Summary, this element can be found on planets located in Red Star systems. The Red Star systems will be shown on the Warp Map with a K# or M# classification. Rubeum is mined using the Multi-tool and is commonly found as a bright red surface mound (similar morphology to gold, emeril, etc.) or as a coating rimming circular surface openings within cave roofs.

Rubeum is an obsolete resource and no longer has a purpose in the game.
