Sentinel Capital Ship is a type of Sentinel encountered in space.
Summary[ | ]
Sentinel Carrier is the last sentinel unit sent against the player while they are fighting sentinels in space. They behave like hostile freighter ships and attack the player if they are wanted by authorities and have a level 5 wanted level. They summon regular Sentinel Interceptors along with them.
Appearance[ | ]
Sentinel Capital Ships have the same look as Battleship type Sentinel capital freighters. They have no entrance, lack a control tower, and are mostly black with orange accents. Their weapon beams are purple, the same as the trails of hostile ships.
Behaviour[ | ]
Once warped in, the carrier will attack the player using multiple defence turrets on the freighter which can be destroyed. It will also summon Sentinel Interceptors to aid it. The player is able to damage the hull of the freighter and destroy it, causing all nearby interceptors to retreat and rewarding the player with valuable loot, such as the Carrier AI Fragment.

Sentinel carriers may spawn with cargo containers attached to the ship. Whether this is universal, and whether the location is identical for each Sentinel carrier ship, are both unknown. The loot tables for these cargo containers are likewise unknown at this time.
