Simple Translator is a type of technology.

Simple Translator technology allows a player to understand alien words more quickly. The additional words are not permanently learned, only understood.

An Automatic translation device. It records and parses nearby conversations before running the data through a contextual learning system to determine intended meaning.
Low memory capacity on this entry-level model limits translation capacity.

The "Words Translated" stat operates as follows:
- 1.0-7.0 words total: When all four technologies are installed, you will always get a minimum of one word translated for you up to the highest amount attained, even if the translated words are already learned.

- Tier A - Superior Translator
