The Singularity Engine is a freighter technology that generates and warps a freighter through a Black Hole.
Game description[ | ]
An unstable and highly-experimental piece of freighter hyperdrive technology. This extreme gravity device generates a wormhole deep within the freighter's reactor core, inverting the entire vessel and transporting it across the universe.
Speak to the freighter's commander to engage the drive. Warning: destination is not controllable.

Crafting[ | ]
Singularity Engine can be built using a blueprint and the following ingredients:
Warp Hypercore ×1 + Crystal Sulphide ×3 + Ionised Cobalt ×120 → Singularity Engine
Singularity Engine can be dismantled after construction, returning the following ingredients:
- Singularity Engine → Warp Hypercore ×1 + Crystal Sulphide ×2 + Ionised Cobalt ×60

Black holes that are generated by this powerful warp augmentation lead to a fixed location, determined by location seed where used. It is similar to those in black hole systems, if used in such a system, one arrives in the same location the black hole leads to.
This upgrade is only available in the normal save where the expedition that introduced the technology was played. This upgrade is not buyable or earnable outside of that expedition save.
However, if one obtains the upgrade outside of the expedition, they can install it on their freighter.
