The Solus Imperium is a theocratic monarchy ruled by an Imperator. While the Imperator is the de-facto leader of the Imperium, the management, maintenance and ruling of the star systems claimed by the Imperium are done by the Praetors. The exception is the Rex Latium system, which is overseen by the Imperator. Praetors are magistrates appointed by the Imperator whose job it is to rule a star system or systems in the Imperator's name. They are required to follow the rules and guidelines the Imperator has set in place in order to ensure the security and continuing prosperity of each star system claimed by the Imperium.
Their capital planet, Rex Terra is a paradise planet located in the Rex Latium System (originally called Voksun-Wamin XII). Rex Terra is a rocky, red grassland with mild temperatures, infrequent sentinels, and located in a Vy'keen prominent star system.
The Solus Imperium is always open for alliances with other empires of the galaxy. It is located in the Izvikaw Void region of the Euclid galaxy.

Our mission is to claim and colonize the Euclid galaxy and to form lasting, meaningful alliances with other empires and species to create a more prosperous, safe and secure society for all species of the galaxy.
Background[]
Rex Solus[]
Rex Solus is the patron deity of the Imperium and believed to be the creator of everything. He is most associated with light and fire and is often depicted as a golden eagle. He is said to have had one son which he created from a clay figure that was left as an offering at one of his shrines. He breathed life into the figure and named it "Sol Lutum". He tasked his son to unite his mortal creations as he was deeply saddened by how they destroy each other in the name of vain pleasures instead of enjoying the paradise he lovingly crafted for them.
After 50 years of brutal fighting and campaigning across Rex Terra, Sol Lutum had conquered the entirety of Rex Terra and named his newly founded empire "Solus Imperium" in honor of his father. After this, he departed back to the heavens to be with his father as they lovingly watch over Rex Solus's creations and the Imperium to this day. The oldest temple dedicated to Rex Solus is located on Rex Terra.
Naming Guidelines[]
Praetors are encouraged to name star systems with the prefix "Rex", to show that it has been claimed by the Solus Imperium and to show reverence to Rex Solus. Naming planets and star systems in Latin is not required but you may do so if you so please.
The official colors of the Solus Imperium are gold, red and black. All citizens of the Imperium are encouraged to use these colors for base building and character designs.

The galaxy is a vast, unknown place and it is filled with all different kinds of species which are different from your own. If any citizen is found to be guilty of intolerable actions, the magistrates of the Imperium will punish you.
