Special elements are one of the eight divisions of the resources in No Man's Sky.

Summary[]

Special elements are mainly used for refinement, most of them directly or indirectly can be refined into Nanite Cluster. Chromatic Metal and Pugneum can be used to craft various technologies and products. Some were introduced to play a special role in Community Research missions.
