A valuable piece of broken down starship, created by a Starship Outfitting Terminal at a Space Station.
Component is useful only as scrap to be sold at a Trade Terminal.

Sometimes created by a Starship Outfitting Terminal at a Space Station when the player chooses "Claim Scrap" menu option to salvage their starship into Units.
Usage[]
Speaking to an Autophage.
Component can be sold at a Trade Terminal. When speaking with an Autophage, the choice to "Present a gift" sometimes suggests "1 Spool of Nano-Cables" which will increase standing.
It is not usable by the player in Crafting or Base building.

- 0-15 piece is awarded when salvaging a starship.
- Maximum stack size is 25.
