A valuable piece of broken down starship, created by a Starship Outfitting Terminal at a Space Station.
Component is useful only as scrap to be sold at a Trade Terminal.

Most often created by a Starship Outfitting Terminal at a Space Station when the player chooses the "Claim Scrap" menu option to salvage an expensive starship and receive Units in the form of scrap. The starship in question must have a reclaim value that is a bit higher than 50,000,000 units. If the sole condition is met on scrapping, the player receives, in total, a full stack of either Geodesite or Iridesite, a full stack of a random activated stellar metal, and one unit of Starship AI Valves along with the regular scrap component yield. It can also be gifted from Planetary Settlement visitors.
It is extremely valuable.
Usage[]
Component is useful only as scrap to be sold at a Trade Terminal.
It is not usable by the player in Crafting or Base building.
It is commonly used as a way to transfer money, or store it due to it having a high value in the game.
