Base images needed! I'm talking about you guys who love to share your bases, now is your time to shine. One main base for the top is needed, as well as a couple farming screenshots. A gallery can be added to the bottom showing maybe 6-8 additional bases, just to keep things from getting cluttered.

I know there are a variety of farming shots currently in the wiki. If you go to the Special:ListFiles page you can scan through what's available. You may find something there that will suit. Ddfairchild (talk) 15:16, 7 April 2017 (UTC)

I wonder, does Base Sharing count towards freighters? --70.170.67.244 17:24, 12 May 2017 (UTC)

Note to anon users

We have a number of anon users, some like 73.86.190.154 contribute a number of edits. I'd like to encourage you to create and use a regular wiki ID so we can get in touch with you in case of questions and suggestions. You might as well get credit for your efforts! Bases and Portals?

I understand there is a feature where bases built near or on Portals are not upload-able, or are view-able only by their creator anyway. Supposedly to prevent someone from "locking" visitors out from using a planet's Portal. However I have not been able to find any detailed information on this. If anyone has done any research, or has read the work of someone who has, it might be a good idea to add the range from a Portal at which a base is share-able and view-able by all. --FinFingers (talk) 23:51, 29 January 2019 (UTC)

Hotspots

In reference to the 16+ hotspots, always including all 6 types: . For reference, here's what I tested & when:

Beyond = 450 planets (All planet types included)

24x patches @ 20 planets = 480 (All planet types included)

Synthesis - 100 (All planet types included)

5x patches at 50 planets = 250 (All planet types included)

Living Ship - 70

4x Patches at 50 planets = 200 (All planet types included)

Exo Mech - 25

2x patches at 25 planets = 50

TOTAL PLANETS TESTED = 1625

This is only my personal testing. I also had many other people testing with me; who came to the same conclusions over thousands of planets in total.

It has also been confirmed by HelloGames staff.
