Basic Requirements[]

In order to be recognised as a civilization on the Civilized space page, the following requirements must be met:

  1. An embassy page is present in the wiki (and in good order without red links)
  2. A minimum of five star system pages discovered by the civilization are present in the wiki (and in good order)
  3. The civilization's founder is involved only with the new civilization (basically one civ or company to a customer)
  4. An official request for inclusion from the founder is present here on the Discussion page

Korvaxium Empire official recognition as a Civilized Space Community 5/26/22 []

Hello Travellers.

I come here to request that my civ, The Korvaxium Empire becomes officially recognized as a Civilized Space community. I have done all requirements and have five documented star-systems. Please review this. If all is well, Eissentam will gain another great civilization.

-Gr8argus.

Have reviewed your pages and they are fairly complete. However, most of your star pages have no location information listed (coordinates and glyphs). Make sure that your pages include this information, both in the infobox and on the regular page itself. Let me know once completed, and we'll stamp the approval documents. Thanks! Ok I have added the portal glyphs to all five of the star pages. Thanks. -Gr8argus.

Reinstating Lanny Poo Empire on to Civilized Space Page (5/22/2022)[]

Hello, I am Lan1Aud2 and am formally requesting that my civilization be put back on the map where it was in past updates with the same description.

The following is noted on the civspace page: A civilization will be removed after a major new update if there has been no wiki activity in the last three months.
Your civ has had no activity on the wiki for more than a year, which is why your civ was dropped. If you wish to be reinstated, you will need to add at least one new star page at minimum. Also, the five stars currently listed for your civ are all from the NEXT release which is four years ago. These pages all need to be revisited and updated to the current status under the Outlaws release. Thanks. Ddfairchildd (talk) 06:23, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
Hello I have added a new Star system as requested to reinstate my system into the Civilized space page.
the Raza page needs a good deal of work to qualify as a valid star page. Please revisit and correct the red links, fill out the planet table, location information, infobox etc. Also see the note above about updating your NEXT-era pages. Ddfairchildd (talk) 16:54, 23 May 2022 (UTC)

Re-recognition of the Krillfederation of Soviet Socialist Systems[]

I'm working out details to reorganize the KSSS and thought to start with the wiki and recognition. I've updated the page to the current version and will try to get more systems uploaded soon. Is there anything else required for Re-recognition?

No, as soon as a new star system page has been documented, the requirements for Re-recognition are met. Welcome back! Artifexity (talk) 14:38, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
Once the page is completed, add a link to it here so it can be reviewed. Ddfairchildd (talk) 15:25, 10 May 2022 (UTC)

Formal recognition of Empire of Eld as a Hub, based on Census (5/8/2022)[]

I, the leader of the Empire of Eld, do hereby request formal recognition of our civilization as a Hub, based on Census. We have 20 members with verifiable second IDs, and over well-documented in the wiki.

Questions regarding this request may be directed to our Archivist, therealmortaine.

Regards, Emperor Almar Eld

While there are indeed 20+ members listed on the census, several of them use a "second id" that is visually based (i.e. youtube, tiktok, etc). As one of the reasons for a secondary ID is to allow conversation and contact to be made, these IDs will need to be replaced by text-based methods such as reddit. Ddfairchildd (talk) 15:36, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
Is reddit the only acceptable secondary ID or is there a list somewhere? Most of the members of my civ don't use reddit. SonofM3rcury 1:22, 17 May 2022 (UTC)
At present there are 18 acceptable two-forms-of-id entries listed. Once two more have been added, the gold starburst will be granted. Ddfairchildd (talk) 06:27, 24 May 2022 (UTC)

Official Recognition Please (04/18/22)[]

Please could you add The Oak Initiative to the Civilised Spaces list?

All requirements met I believe - Embassy page, 5 systems added, no red links, this is the only civilisation I am running, and this is my request.

Also if anyone knows how to knock up a good emblem then please feel free to get in touch :D.

I'm in the process of reviewing your pages, here are a couple of initial comments.
1) For your naming conventions, you include the phrase "with the [OAK] suffix". In the wiki, square brackets are part of the wiki markup language so they can't be used in a page name. So if you were planning on documenting pages for any of the bases or ships, you wouldn't be able to use the brackets. The admin team just makes the suggestion that you use another character instead, most editors will just use parenthesis.
2) Your star pages will need to be filled out in good order using the standard star page template. While you do have the pages created, there's not much info in place.
Thanks! Ddfairchildd (talk) 17:13, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
