  2. A minimum of five star system pages discovered by the civilization are present in the wiki (and in good order)

  4. An official request for inclusion from the founder is present here on the Discussion page

COMPLETE - Request for Galactic Hub Eissentam to get the HUB-B & -R size (12/16/2021)

Hello, due to a recent change in the UFT Constitution regarding civ sizes with documented bases, the Galactic Hub Eissentam requests to get the HUB-B size (and in combination with the already reached HUB-M we therefore also request HUB-R). Our Census currently lists 41 documented bases of individual players throughout our claimed space, 20 are required for HUB-B. Thanks! Lenni (talk) 20:41, 16 December 2021 (UTC)

I have visited 5 randomly selected bases and can thus certify the accuracy of the information. A total of only 24 bases can be counted, as the others are older than Frontiers. In any case, that's enough for recognition. Now we just have to wait for Ddfairchildd's assessment. Thank you! Artifexity (talk) 13:23, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
Thank you. You mentioned the base versions have to be Frontiers. However, the best practice guide (and DDF) say a page shouldn't get updated without adding content. So for example my base (Eternity) still exists and is up to date, but doesn't have the Frontiers version because I haven't changed anything about the base. Would the proper procedure be to confirm the bases are still visible, then update the version against what the best practices are? Thanks! Lenni (talk) 13:37, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
Yes, it is always possible to update the pages with the note that you have visited the base or star system and nothing has changed. Ddfairchildd will correct me if I misinterpret this. Artifexity (talk) 13:56, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
Artifexity is spot on here. The intent is to specify that "as of this release, the information on the page is correct AND that someone actually visted to make sure."Ddfairchildd (talk) 06:36, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
Changes have been made to grant HUB-R status for EHUB. Well done. Ddfairchildd (talk) 07:52, 26 December 2021 (UTC)

Request for New Galactic Empire (NGE) to become an officially recognized civilization. (12/9/2021)

Hello, I am asking for official recognition of the New Galactic Empire as a registered civilization. I believe all of the minimum requirements have been met. Thanks in advance!

Did a quick look at your pages - while the data appears to be good, they will need to be converted to use our standard page formats for stars, embassy pages, planets, etc. If you have any questions on how to do this, just let us know. Otherwise, give us a call-back once the conversions are done and I'll do a full review. Thanks! Ddfairchildd (talk) 15:48, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

I'm going to need some help with converting, I'm new to wiki lol but I will definitely do that! Also I'm doing all of this from my phone as my computer is down for the foreseeable future, is this something that can be done with the phone or do I need to run to a computer for it? Thanks! User:DarthRentis

You will want to do this from a computer for sure. Once you get it back up and running, let me know and I can give you additional details. Ddfairchildd (talk) 17:09, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

Alright i will do that and I will let you know, thank you! User:DarthRentis

Hello, I did some work on your civilization page and your capital system page, look at the source code for these two pages to understand how to work on your other system pages celabgalactic (talk) 07:37, 11 December 2021 (UTC)celabgalactic

Thank you, I really appreciate it! I will fix the pages as soon as our computer is back up and running, thank you for showing me how its supposed to be. User:DarthRentis

COMPLETE - Request for the Queer Anarchist Travellers to be recognized as a qualified civ : 12 Nov 2021

I've got the 5 system pages up as well as the embassy page and the beginning of the census. I did my best given that I'm very new to wiki-ing-- mostly copied from Qitanian pages as they has been helping us get started. Please let me know if there's something I missed or have to fix to become compliant and I can do that next week. Thank you for your time. - Son of M3rcury, QAT founder.

Hello Son0fM3rcury05, I moved your request up. As far as I can tell, the category pages for the star systems are missing. But for a close review we have to wait for Ddfairchildd's assessment. Thanks. Artifexity (talk) 11:16, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
Aha! For some reason I thought they auto-generated. Whoops! I'll make that happen once I get some coffee in me today. Thank you!-- Edit: I think what had made me think they auto-gen'd is that at the top of many of the pages, they did auto-gen, but the ones at the bottom were still red. I think they should be fixed now. Also it's not straightforward for us code-dumb people how to add a topic to the top of this page, as I think most of us will intuitively click "Add a Topic" (instead of "edit source") which seems to only add to the bottom. Might want to put something about using the Source Editor in the desc here. SonofM3rcury (talk) 16:52, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
OK, I have reviewed one of your star pages (Batangz-Shy XV) and made a variety of changes. I'll list some thoughts here; you'll need to go to your other star pages and make the same changes.
1) blank lines between the regular lines are not needed. About the only place you'll want to use a blank line is between page sections.
2) in the table, pictures should be set to "150px" instead of "150x150px"
3) If a wiki page is referred to more than once (say Copper), only the first reference is made into a link. The others are shown as regular text.
4) most of the regular sections for a star page are missing. Not sure if this was a copy/paste issue, but if you use the standard preload templates, all of these headers will be loaded for you.
5) in the Discovered-By column, you don't need to provide a link each time. Your name is linked in the infobox and that's good.
6) Adding location information is a good idea so that other travellers who may want to visit know how to find you.
7) including a screenshot of the System discovery page (the one that shows all the planets/moons and their names) is a good idea.
8) on the category pages, you don't need to add any additional sub-categories to what is already defined for you.
Holler if you have any questions - thanks! Ddfairchildd (talk) 20:11, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
I think I've brought it all into compliance based on what was said here and what Celab put on my profile page. If I missed something, please let me know. That's what I get for copy and pasting from other civs' page layouts I guess. -- SonofM3rcury 16:34:08, 24 November 2021 (UTC)
Pages reviewed and approved, your civ has been added to the CivSpace page as a recognized civ. Keep making wiki updates so that your civ continues to be recognized. Ddfairchildd (talk) 07:22, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
