Question- As I add upgrades to my suit and ship and Multi tool, do I need to include all the bits of the sequence, or can I just cut to the last/ largest / highest one? For instance, life support + sigma + tau, or just life support + life support tau? Makes a big difference in inventory size required. My suspicion is that all the steps are required, based on the stamina upgrades. I noticed that each one wasn't doing too much good, but when I put all three in, I can now run for a looong time. Can anyone verify this? Thanks. Greg

Question Stacking Modules

I recently found that I could stack 3 upgrade modules in my inventory and then another 3 in my technology slots with out overloading it. On PC. Has this been reported in the wiki on any page? If not I can add a description of the phenomena somewhere.

Response

You are not required to have all the levels of a sequence. HOWEVER (and it's a big however), the levels DO build on each other. In addition, the closer they are in contact with each other in your inventory, the more of a combined boost you are likely to receive. Check the Upgrade bonus page for additional information. cargo upgrades

its not true that your inventory needs to be maxed out to add cargo slots. i've had 4 upgrades so far and put all of them in cargo where i now keep my power gels and shield shards (10 each). --92.73.23.231 21:41, 27 August 2017 (UTC)

Information on buying exosuit inventory upgrades at space stations

Would be nice to have more information on this, including information on how much the upgrades cost.
