Apparently the Space Anomaly appeared for me when I lifted off with my starship. I didn't touch any Monolith or Plaque and it still appeared. I have video evidence. So maybe the fact that you need to interact with Monoliths and Plaques to make it appear is wrong. --TakaNoYaiba (talk) 09:08, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
- I've actually seen this as well, it just appeared for me while I was exploring a planet. It is definitely guaranteed to appear in the next system you visit after an Atlas Interface, but there are apparently other triggers as well. CrsBenjamin (talk) 14:55, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
Specie Names?[]
Hey guys, I was just wondering, do any of you think we should try to give any of the various species aboard the Anomaly their own specie names? I've thought of a few samples if your interested: Hesperus's specie could be called Avion. Tethys I think would go good as a Reptonion. I was kinda thinking that Selene would be something along the lines of Serpentine, or something of that nature, (you know, because of the tongue). Cronus could be a Tubulon, (he is very fat, from all his cooking students). Eos could be an Aquarian, (he does look an awful lot like some sort of shark). Helios could bee a Tryyon, (get it? Because he looks like a tree?) Persus could be a, oh, I don't know, maybe, uh, Skrugg? I don't know, that's just what I thought when I saw him while trying to think up names for them... Ares could either be a Cranian or a Cepthalonian, (he either looks like a cranium or a squid, I don't know which).
Anyways, those are just my suggestions. What do you think? Do we even need to name them? If so, what do you think would be good names for them? Oh well, enjoy. Rockatoa, Brickticks (talk) 16:14, 24 January 2020 (UTC) out!
- My thought would be that HelloGames has already defined them specifically as members of the Traveller race (with Iteration possibly being a sub-species of Traveller). I believe that you won't get the rewards from the community objectives if you end your expedition before those objectives are met. Information may be useful on this page and/or on Game_mode#Expedition_mode. As I was also looking for what content you are unable to do while doing Expeditions.
