The Chivalric Knights of the Order of Iteration is a civilized space community.

Summary[ | ]

The Chivalric Knights of the Order of Iteration is a Civilized space community.

Frequently referred to as simply “The Order of Iteration”, it is headquartered in the Fisatrzemle Anomaly region of the Euclid galaxy. The Order is focused on working as a team to complete tasks, assisting others for successful endeavors, exploration and documentation thereof, and sharing of its bounty with the citizens under their protection. Members are called Knights of the Order of Iteration, Knights of Iteration, or simply, Iteration Knights.

Mission[ | ]

Our purpose is to defend the citizens of the galaxy from all manners of terrors and evils. We do this through exploration, building, and most importantly, military force-of-arms. Protecting the galactic citizens, the Space Anomaly and its inhabitants, and completing Nexus missions for the benefit of all, are core responsibilities of the Knights in the Order.

Sharing the knowledge we acquire on all subjects is an important secondary duty. As such, we will lend aid to new travelers, assist others in completing missions, building bases, and acquiring assets needed to successfully endure the hardships of our myriad galaxies.

Background[ | ]

The Order came into existence after the Korvax in the Salakhan System requested a Traveller take up residence, in an effort to permanently reduce the overwhelming pirate activity plaguing the system. Arrangements were made, agreements signed, and a writ was issued granting land rights and limited authority to deal with pirates and other ne'er-do-wells.

As the traveller explored further afield, they encountered other systems in need of assistance. Requests to protect from Sentinels, pirates, thieves, monstrosities, and other dangers continued to come in. In return for similar agreements, the traveler expanded the organization. Eventually, more hands were needed, so other travelers and interlopers were invited to assist in the endeavors.

The effort reached the point where more systems allowed the organization to manage affairs beyond the minor peacekeeping duties, and the Order was formed to properly handle the duties and requirements necessary for stellar leadership and peacekeeping.

Naming Guidelines[ | ]

Any system explored and claimed for the benefit of the Order must be named within genre, keeping the names as fitting the setting as possible, and all names should be mature, and family friendly.

If you feel a need to signify Order ownership, it can be denoted with "O.I." appended after the name upon discovery. All names for moons, planets, fauna, and flora within Order space can be named whatever the traveler desires, as long as the names keep the nobility and decorum of the Order intact, i.e. no vulgarity, disparaging remarks, etc.

Joining[ | ]

If you interested in joining the Order, you should contact one of the members listed below, or join our Discord and request membership.

A basic member must have Discord and use it on a consistent basis. Please be prepared to tell us: Why you wish to join, what experience you have in NMS, and what assistance you can offer the travelers of the universe through service in the Order.

Although started on Xbox we are open to all travelers, across all platforms.

  • Any player names displayed on structures or discovery uploads found within Order space will be added to the CKOI Census as Non-Member Residents or Non-Member Resident Interlopers, depending upon their nature, meaning that while they are not part of the CKOI government they shall still be counted as citizens for total population. Such inclusion shall remain for however long the player's name is visible within Order space. Any actions performed by resident citizens outside of the CKOI officers, Knights and soldiers (full members) do not necessarily reflect the views and positions of the CKOI.
