The Crimson Arc is a nomadic civilized space community.

The Crimson Arc is a Civilized space community.

It is located in the Twerbetek galaxy.

After having begun the great Twerbetek expedition on 6/20/2020, The Crimson Arc has claimed dozens of Twertebek systems, which still remains our primary goal. Our mission is to conquer significant portions of this galaxy and rule it under the single banner of the Crimson Arc, after which we establish events and factions. Our goals are purely for RP purposes and are not meant to interfere with anyone else's gameplay opportunities.

The civilization first started when multiple members reported unwelcoming and autocratic civilizations that did not provide a welcoming attitude toward all who join and wish to be part of their Civilized space. Thus, The Crimson Arc was created as a safe haven where everyone is treated respectfully and members of all platforms can gather to embark on a great journeys, trade high-specialty goods, accept job commissions, and fight against pirates and malicious threats. Over time, the Crimson Arc, it's divisions, and its goals have all evolved to become what it is today.

The Infestation[]

Once bound to the planet of Iasur--a formerly lush world that served as a serence capitol for the Crimson Arc--our civilization has moved on to the Twerbetek galaxy, partly as a result of the Nest which has taken hold of our former home. We strive to find another, and commonly send CAMO troopers on missions to reclaim our past sanctuary and repel the creatures who'd dare take it from us.

Naming Guidelines[]

Upon discovering a new star system anywhere in Twerbetek, Galaxy 25, please make sure to leave the star system's name the same with the only change being appending the suffix (ARC) at the end to signify that it is Crimson Arc territory since the entire galaxy is under the Crimson Arc's claim. Of course, this is by no ways enforceable and is purely for RP purposes.

If you want to join, you should contact Jeff Lin#4266 through discord. From there, a basic screening process will ensue, and after that you will be invited to join The Crimson Arc's discord. Remember, we are open to all who pass a basic screening (which checks for malicious tendencies and predicts for rude, unacceptable behavior) and have hubs across all platforms.

Derelict Freighter Logs[]

Logs of discovered derelict freighters can be bound on the Derelict Freighter Logs page.

Lore & Philosophy[]

The Crimson Arc's lore and philosophy can be found in the Tome of the Arc, a material book with individual pages stitched together over the course of centuries. The pages are blotted and torn, and not everything contained in the book is adhered to by the Crimson Arc. The book has been rewritten uncountable times, and pages get omitted or added over the course of millennia. The current iteration may not be even a little similar to the what it contained originally. The book has been transcribed for digital access on holo-tablets, but the original remains tangible for safeguarding and as an un-hackable reference. The location of the Tome of the Arc is currently unknown save to a few travelers.

Any member who has been settled on our capitol can submit chapters to the Tome of the Arc at any time, but only if said chapters follow the No Man's Sky canon and the canon built for the Crimson Arc. Non-canon material or fourth-wall breaking content will be removed under supervisor jurisdiction.

The Crimson Arc has numerous divisions which members can join after being anchored to our capitol planet, Iasur. The divisions and their descriptions are below:

  • The Crimson Arc Academy of Science (CASA) - Focuses on documentation of in-game research and discoveries in order to advance the general knowledge of the NMS community.
  • The Crimson Arc Military Older (CAMO) - Focuses on in-game patrols and militaristic activities to protect territories in the Twertebek galaxy. Numerous ranks and missions accompany this division.

Crimsonfest is a monthly event that takes place as a celebration of the Crimson Arc. Two Crimsonfest have been held, and both on the third thursday of their respective month, a norm for these events. Event days include building tournaments, cosplay competitions, races, fireworks, and a banquet, although activites could always be changed. Formerly hosted on the origin capitol Iasur, Crimsonfest will now be hosted in select locations in the Twerbetek galaxy. Anyone is welcome to attend.

As a result of increased space and a plethora of creative members, we have implemented the imperial faction system, in which at least 7 members can come together and create a faction, or state, under the Crimson Arc's grand jurisdiction. All factions are in the Twerbetek galaxy.

Census information for the Crimson Arc can be found here. However, most of the information here is outdated, with numerous members having left and Crimson Arc's size having quadrupled since the date of the last recording.
