The Crimson Arc is a civilized space community.

The Crimson Arc is a Civilized space community.
It is located in the Noytiat Anomaly region of the Euclid galaxy.
Mission[ | ]
Our mission is to create a prosperous and welcoming Civilized space where members of all platforms can gather to trade, protect the galaxy against malicious threats, and explore together with the same goal in mind while making sure every member feels safe and welcomed among the ranks of The Crimson Arc. We strive to allow everyone's opinions to be heard, and take votes on most matters democratically.
Background[ | ]
The civilization first started when multiple members reported unwelcoming and autocratic civilizations that did not provide a welcoming attitude toward all who join and wish to be part of their Civilized space. Thus, The Crimson Arc was created as a safe haven where everyone is treated respectfully and members of all platforms can gather to embark on a great journeys, trade high-specialty goods, accept job commissions, and fight against pirates and malicious threats.
Naming Guidelines[ | ]
Upon discovering a new star system within a 6K LY radius of the Crimson Arc's hub--respective of your platform, please make sure to leave the star system's name the same with the only change being appending the suffix (ARC) at the end to signify that it is Crimson Arc territory. However, please be sure to leave planet, fauna, and flora names the same so there is no difference in planetary or biological names between platforms.
Joining[ | ]
If you want to join, you should contact Jeff Lin#4266 through discord. From there, a basic screening process will ensue, and after that you will be invited to join The Crimson Arc's discord. Remember, we are open to all who pass a basic screening (which checks for malicious tendencies and predicts for rude, unacceptable behavior) and have hubs across all platforms.

Lore & Philosophy[ | ]
The Crimson Arc's lore and philosophy can be found in the Tome of the Arc, a material book with individual pages stitched together over the course of centuries. The pages are blotted and torn, and not everything contained in the book is adhered to by the Crimson Arc. The book has been rewritten uncountable times, and pages get omitted or added over the course of millennia. The current iteration may not be even a little similar to the what it contained originally. The book has been transcribed for digital access on holo-tablets, but the original remains tangible for safeguarding and as an un-hackable reference. The location of the Tome of the Arc is currently unknown save to a few travelers.
Submissions[ | ]
Any member who has been settled on our capitol can submit chapters to the Tome of the Arc at any time, but only if said chapters follow the No Man's Sky canon and the canon built for the Crimson Arc. Non-canon material or fourth-wall breaking content will be removed under supervisor jurisdiction.
Divisions[ | ]
The Crimson Arc has numerous divisions which members can join after being anchored to our capitol planet, Iasur. The divisions and their descriptions are below:
- The Crimson Arc Academy of Science (CASA) - Focuses on documentation of in-game research and discoveries in order to advance the general knowledge of the NMS community.
- The Crimson Arc Service Industry (CASI) - Focuses on building farms/mines or sourcing materials to players for free in order to assist the community with their needs.
