Regarding your question of monoliths vs rock pillars

Rock pillars are generally circular protrusions with a a flat top, although sometimes the top may be so small to be almost pointed. Monoliths is a catch all to cover any special surface feature, it may be a square, a pyramid, a hollow square, or a curved slightly smooth top elevated surface that follows the base land contours (Pic for the last case example) Hub10-193 Apollinaris -Orculomp onworld.jpg

Quick thought - when doing updates to planet or star pages, if the information you are adding is new (i.e. not just rearranging data or formatting) and the info was found during a visit under Frontiers, you can update the version and release= parms on the page as part of the change.

Thanks!

I don't really understand it, to be honest.

The information for Planet Geology as an example is all not really new and was discovered by me in old versions. What is still missing, I am currently adding based on the existing images. Should I then do a version update? If I understand it correctly: Yes!!!

If the information you are using (i.e. the existing images)comes from a previous version, then you don't need to update the version.

If the info you are adding is from a Frontiers screenshot, then yes.

Ok. And another final example: When I add a cockpit pic and information about an ongoing exotification I will update the version, right?

Again, it really depends on the version that the data is coming from. If the pic is from a later version than what shows on the page, then yes, update the version.

Thanks. I will take that into consideration

I'm still going crazy with the large and small description of the header in English. There I praise myself the German grammar... even if it is perhaps a little more complicated, but there it is clearly defined.

As a general rule, you don't have to go in to pages (such as those you've been changing recently) just to make minor wording change (removing the "in no man's sky" phrase for example). If you are updating the page for another reason that's fine, but it tends to make a lot of extra page reviews for the admin staff to go through.

Thanks!

hej - ok thanks, the most of the sites I like to add the geology-info and change table-colors, so I can handle it too. So sorry for the extra work you may have. Have a good one

And for those pages, it's absolutely fine to make the multiple changes since you're already in there to add info.
