An unnaturally thick liquid of dubious colour. Its origins are impossible to fathom.
Appears to have some mild magnetic properties.

Viscous Fluids can be purchased and sold at Galactic Trade Terminals and NPCs for a profit. Viscous Fluid frequently appears as a removed item to repair Damaged Machinery.
Viscous Fluids can be refined using a Refiner with the following ingredients:
Residual Goop x1 →
Viscous Fluids x1 ("Recycle Waste Materials", 0.6 sec./unit output)
Use[]
Through multiple steps of refining, Residual Goop can be converted to Viscous Fluids, to Living Slime, to Runaway Mould and then to Nanite Cluster.
Crafting[]
Viscous Fluids is not used as an ingredient for crafting.

Viscous Fluids is used as an ingredient for refining the following products using a Refiner:
